Students are admitted on the basis of age appropriate. (ESL
is available for children who need extra tuition in
English). All children must be appropriate age by November
30.
HOMEWORK
Homework will be set for children at this school. Parent
support of students doing homework will be appreciated and
has been shown to be of benefit to the student. If homework
is too difficult contact should be made with your class
teacher who will modify homework expectations for you. It is
advisable that Tutors do not do homework for children.
PARENT / TEACHER RELATIONSHIP
We recognize the importance of regular communication with
our parents and encourage parent participation in school
activities. We welcome any suggestions or feedback from
parents. Classroom teachers are happy to meet to discuss
your child's learning and welfare. Parent Teacher interviews
and Parent Information sessions are organized twice a year.
Written reports are sent out twice a year at the end of each
term. Monthly reports are sent home for your information.
